Rome Outlet Village

Simple solutions for complex shapes.

Works: Outlet Village covering an area of 60,000 m² over several floors.

Location: in the north of Rome, near the Ponzano-Soratte exit on the A1 motorway.

Project features: the project offered many challenges and difficulties during construction, including the many irregular shaped diaphragms enriched by unusually shaped recesses, all intersected together. Equally challenging was the construction of reinforced concrete brackets cast in situ to support the beams for pre-fabricated slabs. The choice in this case fell on the MIDI panel system. This was a large, complex project, and an important role was played by several factors: the extreme versatility of the product, together with the project-oriented skills of the ALPI technicians. Equally important was the assembling rapidity, facility and safety with which the MIDI system is handled, to guarantee the respect of the schedule and budgeted costs.
